Book Four Of: LOVE DON'T SEEM TO BE FAIR
A Heart's Embrace
By Carola-Dawn Deschamps
When is a human being an adult? American law views one as legally an adult at the age of eighteen. Some Christian views suggest that one isn't and adult until the age of thirty. Is it possible that it takes us one third of our lifetime to mature, one third of our lifetime of learning from our mistakes and one third of our lifetime to learn who we are, to finally become an adult? Donna is far from eighteen and as she gets closer to thirty, she learns more about the reality of life. Her life is no longer about music, parties, make-up and cloths but about being a loving mother and loving wife. However, what happens when the loving wife is not loved in return? What if you were to wake up and find that you were not loved and that your marriage was based on a lie of love that wasn't there? What if you found your marriage and life was empty? What if that reality took blinders off your eyes and opened you to the realization of the abuse being afflicted on you and then let in fear? Years ago Donna chose to take on adult responsibilities now she will have to make a decision that others may disagree with and that could cost her everything. However, it will open the door for her to learn more than she ever did about herself and as she matures her views on many things will change. Finally, not willing to give up on her crusade to find love, she will learn the greatest lesson; before you can find love, before you can be loved, you must first absolutely and unconditionally love yourself.
