Deep in my soul

Are many things untold

Questions and doubts

Wondering what our world is all about

Can happiness be bought?

Can an old dog be taught?

Does a cloud have a silver lining?

Does a wish follow a star that is falling?

Can the question only be asked by the poet --

or by the philosopher?

Are dreams just for dreamers?

Is love just for the young at heart?

Are ideas just for those who are smart?

Will we ever know?

How the answer will go

Or should we just chase butterflies

Smell roses and let life pass us on by?
