Listen or thy tongue will keep thee deaf.--
-American Indian Proverb welcomeA man can't get rich if he takes proper care of his family.
--Navaho Proverb

Cherokee whisper

From a harden trail of pain

tears fell like rain

for the women did cry

from what history can't hide

Their ways of balance and of land

destroyed by a powder skin man

American justice was not there then

and is it here now for them

Robbed of their home they were sent away

along a path that blooms today

the petals of a gift

Never criticize a man until you've walked a mile in his moccasins.

from the spirits to help their grief

a reminder of what was lost

and the sadness we have cause

And today a whisper of the past

from wrong doing that seems to last

here today in a land that is suppose to be free

a vanishing tribe known as The Cherokee
